This process often takes a lot of trial and error, with testers providing feedback to various design and programming teams to get them to fix things they believe will annoy, frustrate, or disappoint a player. Testers are very important during this process because they are really the only source of quality. Once the game passes video game testing, it is ready to be mass-produced for distribution. This is when the process shifts from intellectual to physical as this final stage requires only the transfer of all ideas to a physical game disc which will be shipped to stores and consumers.
